This year, at least 11 people have died climbing the world’s tallest mountain. It’s one of the most harrowing and dangerous climbs on the planet, so why would people do it? We’re going to ask a survivor, himself. Stacy Taniguchi is a professional wilderness guide. He’s summitted Mt. Denali, the highest mountain in North America, 16 times. He’s jumped out of planes, been bitten by a shark while testing shark-repellent chain mail, and defied death multiple times, even on Mt. Everest. He joins us to tell his story of climbing Mt. Everest and living a life that thrives.
